One of my final projects for the Call of Duty Endowment was to design the branding for C.O.D.E’s in-game assets for THPS 3+4. As a long time fan and player of the franchise, it was truly an honor to take this on.
I created the assets centered around “Skate for Vets”. A play on C.O.D.E’s social handle of “CODE4VETS”. The cohesive designs utilize the brands color ways with added geometric camo patterns, urban military stencils, and paint splatter. I wanted to channel the skate wear designs I used to wear, keeping it simple yet identifiable.
The decks is where I let each element of the design have their own time to shine. The “Skate For Vets” deck with the geometric camo tri-color way , the splatter deck utilizing the negative space for the Endowment’s logo, and the Birdhouse classic board homage with the year the Endowment as established.
